TENDER NOTICE INVITING TECHNICAL AND FINANC IAL OFFERS FOR ENUMERATION OF OIL SEED BEARING TREES CURENTLY AVAILABLE IN KBK REGION OF Odisha.

Technical and financial offers are invited in separate sealed envelops from interested firms/organizations/institutions/NGOs having sufficient experience in the field to undertake the following activities:
  • Enumerate existing oil seed bearing trees like Karanj, Mahua, Kusum, Simarauba, Polang, Jatropha etc. available in the forests /elsewhere in all the 8 districts of KBK region.
  • Estimate the potential of availability of oilseeds from the above plant and their current levels of tapping.
  • Status of marketing of such seeds in the region.
The enumeration and other related studies are required to be completed within 45 days from the date of award of the assignment. The draft report therefore should be submitted and presented by the 30th day of the award. The final report may be submitted by the 45th day after due incorporation of the views and suggestions emerging during the presentation. The cost of the enumeration and study will be released in two equal installments. The first installment will be released after submission of the draft report and the final installment after submission and acceptance of the final report.No format is prescribed for submitting the offer. Tenderers are required to submit their offers in their official letter heads indicating their experience in similar works and names and qualifications of personnel to be engaged for the assignment. Both technical and financial offer are required to reach the undersigned by 29.1.2008 positively.

Sealed quotations are invited from reputed interior decorators/ event managers having latest tax / VAT clearance certificate capable for different works in connection with setting up of  exhibition stall and event management during the annual Adivasi Exhibition to be held from 26.1.2008 to 1.2.2008 at Adivasi padia, Bhubaneswar. The details of the tentative work and other miscellaneous work as may be necessary are given below. All the works are to be completed and stall made ready by 24-01-2008.
     The quotations will be received up to 3.00 PM on 22.1.2008 and will be opened on the same day at 3.30pm in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives. Back ground:

Biju Patnaik Energy Park, set up over an area of 2.5 acres near Khandagiri hills adjacent to the Kharavela Park of BDA. The main objective of the park is to popularize renewable energy and energy conservation amongst different sections of the society. This is being accomplished through live demonstration of renewable energy technologies/devices, various theme exhibits, films, interactive media, different play things and games based energy generation and conservation. Apart from technology demonstration and information dissemination, the park has been provided a natural ambience to attract people of all age groups and from different walks of life.  The park will also have regular activities like meetings, seminars, symposiums, workshops, training programmes etc throughout the year.

Location:

The park is situated at about 200 meters to the west of NH-5. A direct road from the national highway connects the park. It can also be accessed from Khandagiri caves by a 40’ wide road that runs to the south just before approaching the caves.

Scope of work

BPEP intends to lease following areas for putting up advertisement of products, companies & services. 

  1. Wall painting : Approximately 150 mtrs. of boundary wall is available for wall paintaing. 
  2. Wall panneles : Steel panels/grills can be mounted on top of the boundary wall for fixing  flex or any other suitable material.
  3. Hoardings : Considering the size of the park 4-5 hoardings can be accommodated in the park
  4. Street light poles :  There are 20  SPV street light poles which can be utilized for putting up 2/3 sided slender advertisement boards.

     
Submission of tenders:

Tenders in sealed cover will be received in the prescribed format with all additional information as found necessary by the applicant along with EMD for Rs. 5000/- (Five Thousand only) in shape of Bank draft drawn in favor of Chief Executive, OREDA on all working days till 3.00 P.M. of 31.12..2007. The tenders may be dropped in the drop box kept in the office chamber of the Dy. Director, SE Division, OREDA at S-59, Mancheswar Industrial Estate, Bhubaneswar.

Tenders submitted beyond the stipulated date and time will not be entertained.

Opening of tenders:

The tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives.

 

Selection :

The selection will be on the basis of their credentials and highest offer.  If found necessary, the tenderers will be invited to make presentations before a panel of selectors on a suitable date (to be fixed subsequently).
