Background:

The objective of this system is to energise existing Tube well in remote / un-served areas and ensure piped drinking water supply. 1 HP solar pumps are installed and the water is lifted and stored in an Over Head Tank of 5000 lt and supplied through stand posts in suitable locations. These systems have been installed in the State through various Central and State Schemes. In this year, these systems will be installed under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) scheme.

Achievement:

So far 13,219 no. of Solar Drinking Water system has been installed in the State and many projects are under installation stage.OREDA was awarded first prize for the highest number of pumps installed by any state in the country and also in the district categories in the year 2017.The year wise achievement are as follows:
